Use the in-class material for your evidence to back up your claim. Also, participate as much as you can if you want to enjoy this class in the best way possible. During participation/class discussion, be clear, informative, and (most of all) respectful because these tactics will strengthen your argumentative skills and put you one step close to being a better arguer. Also, remember to think about the reasons or meaning of the different philosophies and ethics of various cultures, rather than just writing the notes down without a second thought, because that will get you closer to understanding the material.
