Focus evenly on all theory concepts as they will help you in the programing; If you struggle with programming, you can pass with the very basics; If you are a high achiever with programming, you will have to further yourself at home using seperate websites

The teacher needs to focus on more advanced programming concepts such as Object-Oriented-Programming. Python is a very simple language and is good for producing concepts, but the teacher should teach a lower-level language such as C, C++ or C#. You can then move on to teach other languages using the more advanced knowledge from the C Family. This is how it is run in the Harvard CS50 course and it is very good.
