The lesson is pretty much one long lecture which you have to spend the time pretending to like being moody. Some of the chemical facts are interesting but very often the facts are just filler for the lesson as they will never be need to be regurgitated in an exam. Exams happen randomly and and you usually get one weeks notice, and sometimes two weeks but that's if you're lucky. Making good notes and knowing the outline of a topic before it is taught allows you to realise when unnecessary parts of the lesson.

I wish there was more equipment for the subject as most experiments end up with a moody atmosphere where there is a demonstration of the experiment no one else get to do. Even paper is in short supply and glue comes out of the teacher's own personal salary. So I would recommend buying your own stationery if you don't want to be sharing, especially in a pandemic.
