She is not just a teacher; she is the careers adviser for Avonside Girls' High School, and she is an incredibly sweet, lovely lady whom you can always have a laugh with. For me personally, as a Year 10 student doing a lot of Year 12 classes, she was the one who truly listened to me back in Year 9 and helped get me into these advanced classes. She constantly pushes me to be the best version of myself—both on the rugby and touch fields, on the hockey turf, and in the classroom. Whether it is highlighting leadership opportunities, finding extra university classes and courses, or opening doors for sporting opportunities, she always has my back. Even when I don’t believe in myself, she does, and she keeps pushing me to succeed. She is also my cousin’s best friend’s mother, so she is always wonderful to chat with and share some good laughs and fun drama. Honestly, if she ever retires, I will cry real, genuine tears! "
