I've had Alexander for 3 classes and all of them were amazing, great teacher and even better friend/almost parent figure. Truly cares about his students and is a very understanding guy. Talks about his life and shares stories but always very interesting! He is a very smart guy and I have never met someone who dislikes him as a person or as a teacher. Memorization is required for his tests, the short answer parts are easy to get good marks on but in some classes the multiple choice can be very hard and random, still so easy to finish with a high 90 as there's lots of assignments you can get done in class time. I never didn't get an 100 on an assignment in his class as it is very easy to read the textbook and find the answers.
Most people agree that Bowes is a great guy, but his class is just okay. He teaches Health Science a lot, and that class is 100% memorization. The assignments usually don't match what we were taught in class that day, but that's because they were taken from online on quizlet, so if you look up one answer you can find the rest.
I loved Halseth for Bio, and while I didn't take Chem with her, the students who did did not like her for that. I would totally recommend her for Biology 30 though, great teacher and is always willing to help you out. Tests aren't very hard and the final wasn't either.
