You will have to write a lot on books so make sure that you fully understand the content. There is an emphasis on correcting your own work in the class so that you can be more confident and independent while working in French.

it helps to be talkative in his class, he tends to like students that joke around with him! His class is super fun and interactive and he jokes around a lot, one of my favourite teachers at whs! However, he's a bit of a hard marker when it comes to written stuff, for orals just engage with him and try to know what you're talking about and you'll get an amazing mark

-Remember your verbs well, you will have to write them several times when he wants to test the class out. And also there will be verb activities in class - Make sure you understand the context of the novels well and if not in class during discussion bring up your difficulty or privately. There will be lots of tests having to do with each novel. - Be prepared for the AP French Exam in May - Memorize Novels well and develop your skill using several software programs, it will come in handy - Don’t be too stressed over presentations

Class of 2019
Mr. Audet is a real nice guy, and is always there if something comes up where one of your presentations can’t work or any other case. Once I was sick and I had to miss an important oral and instead of failing me he willingly told me that he would do the oral with me and give me a passing grade since he knew I put the effort in it. He gives you second chances on things when you explain to him the situation well and really show that you care. Don’t take everything too seriously cause the workload can get heavy and then if you get too stressed, which he doesn’t want you to get you’ll ruin your experience. Just try your best, and be light about things and he’ll like you. Most of the things he says is for joking purposes to make the class fun. He always puts CSI Miami on for fun to end a stressful day and wants everyone to improve.
