I have her this semester. If you attend the classes and pay attention, you should be fine. Don't be afraid to ask her for clarification, she answers every question with patience. Exam 1 was hard, but manageable.

Study the notes you have and you'll be fine. You can skip class and still get good grades.

Had her for Database. The class is highly theoretical and there is A LOT of memorization. Every single command you will have to write need to be memorized. You will have to do a lot of ERD's (Basically planning out a all the Tables and the relations between them) so it's a highly logical class as well. It's a hard class but if you listen and go through the powerpoints on your own (She is very bad at explaining) you should do well.

Very poor explaining skills. She says that she has been working in databases for 20 years or so but she explains as if she was brand new in the subject. She does seem like she cares and wants you to succeed but I highly recommend going through the Powerpoints by yourself because if you only rely on her explaining it to you in class you will fail for sure. She is a very weird grader as well. She is part of the people who will take points off for something that she never showed us (True store, she actually took points off on many assignments in my class because of a certain constraint that she never showed us. We ended up getting our points back but be very careful, go through your exams and don't be affraid to contest your grade). All in all she is not the worst but she is definitely not the best so please study on your own and expect some wacky grading from her part.
