Talking about Cal 1 here, it is essential that you understand that this isn't high school math anymore. I had excellent grades, but they dropped 10 percent when doing cal 1, so don't be excessively confident. Also, a lot of studying is required especially if you're aiming at high grades, because you have to do more than understand the material, you must master it.
Be prepared to put in the work, put in the hours, because this class requires a LOT of TIME!!! Thus, you should not waste it on the practice problems suggested in the course outline, which are in the ''baby'' manual (aka the Faculty approved manual), but instead focus on the ones from the Grown-up and the ones in his documents.
