I took fitness with Chantal and it was lovely! I recommend this class to anyone who is looking to do many things such as weights, HIIT, pilates, kickboxing, etc.. At the beginning of class you typically choose which machine you'd like to go on for about 20 minutes, then afterwards you do the workout she set for that class. We would then have theory where we sit and she explains and we answer questions she has on the type of workout (the answers are known as they are in the workbook). At the end of many of the classes she would have us lay down on mats and relax (lights off and relaxing music on). Then for homework you get questions to answer that relate to the theory, which is found in the workbook, and you also include your own personal experiences!

Give assignments before the due date, otherwise it’s hard to have an extension

I took her Yoga classes and it was super relaxing and fun. There are some papers to fill in here and there and some written assignments but they are super easy just sometimes long and need some thinking. I would recommend if you want to de-stress, do yoga, relieve from anxiety or simply don't like sports or other Phys. Ed classes.

If you read your manual about twice over the night before a test and understand everything, then you should be fine. Make sure you have read the entire sections of the manual for tests though, because there are some sneaky "she probably won't ask about this" questions. The course's with Chantal are not difficult compared to the same course with another teacher.
