Always be prompt to class, detentions are handed out for tardiness. Formulas are often given in exams, however it would be a good idea to know and understand them. Exam review is rarely if never done in class, so be prepared to put in your own effort at home to review major concepts that will be tested. Homework is allocated often, so complete them as soon as possible so that it doesn’t pile up, otherwise you will be scrambling to finish them on their due dates.

Not all the test material is reviewed in class. Make sure to manage your work, mental and physical health time wisely to prevent stress and anxiety. It is a very demanding class with high expectations. Make sure to study your gizmos, labs, assignments, notes and textbook for exams. Start studying a month in advance because there is a lot of information you must understand. Be your own motivator to do well, do not rely on your teacher.

Make sure you understand all the base concepts, as they will be the foundation of all that you will learn. Get work done quickly, as it will pile up.
