In the 2014/2015 school year the class learned a lot about religion contributing to the political situations. We learned all the capital cities of each country that way are minds were expanded to care and look outside of our own country. With her teaching us that, we all learned to sympathize for those suffering in third or second world countries. We watched the movie Blood Diamond to learn about the Somalian war and crisis that occurred not too long ago in our human history. At the end of this class, I concluded that even when there are people suffering from small issues, some of these people seem to forget how worse it could be for them if each person's destiny was different. Such as: living through a war in a third world country instead of break-up problems in a first world country. To sum it up better, this class taught students to be thankful for the positives that they have in life. It also taught those suffering from minor to major problems to be resilient.
