he is bad at explaining and marks VERY VERY VERY harshly. It's pretty bad, whatever you got in english last year, your mark will be worse with him.

Mr. Gregor is a good teacher, but do NOT get him mad. AND pay attention in class. You will fail... :) (he's a very hard marker) (ALSO make sure you always ask him for feedback after each time you finish a portion of your assignment) (he will help you with that) (Don't get on his bad side) Use flashcards (or your brain) to memorize the basics (themes, plots, and all those little definitions). He will introduce them in the first or second unit. Joke, but not too much. He doesn't like it if you are a weirdo with a terrible humour :) (he doesn't have a favourite.) Ask questions directly or during lessons. (if you are an introvert, I'm sorry but he does NOT respond to emails) (Instead, he will read your email and answer directly in front of everyone during class) (so ask him directly or privately)

You need to focus in this class to do well. if you miss class, catch up or you will fall behind and not do amazing.

He is a fine as a person, but I hate how he teaches and more so how he marks. He is way too harsh with his markings, as said by literally everyone.
