Homework is very manageable, and is directly relevant to class material

Just do your homework on time. Stay focused in class and ask as many questions as you like. This course involves a lot of creative writing assignments like obituaries and trip itineraries instead of typical long essays. You have to be passionate about learning history to really enjoy this course. Further, I believe this course is the most important course in grade 11 because if you don't know where you came from, you would never know where you're going.

Phenomenal teacher. Teaches well, efficiently, and is lenient/patient. Top 10 people OAT.

Best teacher I have had in high school! This is my second year with Mr. Farrar. He is very very enthusiastic and energetic, very active in class and will ask you many interesting questions. He goes out of his way to make class very fun. Furthermore, he is very knowledgeable and can answer any question you ask him. Being an history teacher would make it difficult to avoid being a little biased and giving away a personal political opinions but Mr. Farrar always looks at both sides of an idea and has never ever given us his own opinions. Lastly, he supports free speech and is very tolerant.
