Ensure you are responsible. You can lose yourself quickly among the homework. However, the teacher is extremely lenient and provides much support as long as you responsibly, nicely and promptly ask for it.

Mr. Correia is a teacher who is very blunt with you, and if you are not going to do something as you should you will definitely hear about it. He expects his students to. be responsible and study the course material well. However, his blunt attitude allows for him to show how much he really cares about his students. He is very lenient and understanding in all situations, as long as you are responsible enough to talk to him about it. Although I personally was not as responsible as I could have been in this course, and had gotten my fair share of blunt remarks, I believe that Mr. Correia is very good at his job, as well as a very nice and student success oriented teacher. He allows his students to actually learn the material, not just memorize things and forget them as soon as they use them on an assignment/exam. Great teacher, and great person.
