Make sure you understand the concepts well - such that you are able to answer questions that have the concepts twisted a bit, especially under a situation that's usually deemed stressful (such as tests, exams). Do not hesitate to go for extra help. If you are Canadian, this is covered as part of the education. It's free anyways so why not get it? If you are non-Canadian, that is part of what we paid for, so you really should ask for it when you are in need as well. Do A LOT OF questions. That is by far the standard and most effective way of learning STEM concepts, especially in high school. You can never come to imagine how much your teachers know, or how many resources are availiable to you, unless you ask for it.

Always take notes and do the homework If you have any question, do not be shy to ask Understand the principle is more important than memorizing the formulas
