Have an organized binder. Do not use your phone. Do your best to care about the topic and make personal connections. Memorize all the regions of Canada.
Hard work and determination you will get great. Do not fight the teacher with marks.
It helps to know coding basics outside of the class, as sometimes material on the test is either not covered in class "lessons" or is mentioned briefly in passing. Also the lessons are more like demonstrations of how to code certain programs, and often he challenges the class to figure it out on their own before he gives the answer. Again, knowing basic code helps.
