She is an extremely tough marker so every single detail matters because she will find a way to remove marks on anything. Getting her as your English teacher means having to keep in mind that your marks should actually be 5-10% higher than they actually are if you are a high achiever (like usually ~95%).

Sit at the front of the class. This helps build engagement with the course. As a result, you will be able to understand material better as you will be more focused. Ask and answer questions. The reason for this is similar to the previous point. Asking questions will also help you understand what you don't. Do homework. This is very important. Especially for a math course. The act of applying your knowledge in this manner will make you faster at answering questions. This is an essential skill to have in a math course because time is usually of the essence.
