He is the greatest English teacher ever! He's so helpful, so engaging and he really challenges you to do your best every class. He always answers emails and you learn so much in every class. He really prepares you for university as well. Thanks for everything Sir!

Took 12AP English with Pomakov in Semester 2 of 2022-2023. He does not care how much effort you put into his course, but he will always remind you if you hand in assignments late. He is very understanding of everyone's situations and may not penalize you even if your assignment ends up being handed in 2-3 weeks late. This class mainly prepares you for the AP exam, so if you are going to take the AP Literature and Composition Exam, make sure to do all your practice AP mini-essays and actively listen to his infrequent, but thoughtful lessons. More of this class is creating your presentation/essays and listening to others' presentations than actual lessons. Feel free to send him emails to ask him advice/feedback on your essays well before the due date so he can provide feedback before you submit it (you can probably guarantee high 90s like this)
