If you take his accounting class, a lot of memorization is required before taking his test. He will assign 2 test parts which will be split among 2 consecutive periods. For the 1st part, you will be given multiple choice questions based on the rules and principles he goes over in class and answer a few short answer calculation-based questions. As for the 2nd part, you will need to memorize how to format your spreadsheets properly and get all your calculations to balance out. Other advice I would offer is for you to arrive to class early so that you can ask him questions if you have any! You can also email him questions you have and he typically responds quickly. Always ensure you take notes and do the work assigned during his class! I would suggest you to compile a Google Doc with your classmates for every unit chapter that he covers in class. Keep a phone handy to take pictures of any spreadsheets he takes up since he moves pretty quickly and almost never posts the answer keys on Google Classroom. And lastly, knowing spreadsheet shortcuts and formulas would be beneficial to have in your back pocket when taking this course. Good luck! :D

Grade 11 Accounting requires a lot of memorizing but it's a good course

I had him for grade 9 businness. The course itself, I HIGHLY DON'T RECCOMEND TAKING. It's boring and Family Studies seemed much more fun to do then this course. You use laptops a lot and you need to memorize a lot for quizez and tests.
