Participate in class discussions, and make sure you have a clear understanding of what expectations are for assignments, (ask the questions, figure out the support you need and be proactive).

I regret to say that this is the most frustrating online class I've ever taken. The communication is simply not there and I'm not confident that my teacher is familiar with the class. His expectations are incredibly high and difficult to meet due to lack of direction in the class. Overall, I believe he would be a good in-class teacher but does not do very well as an online one.
