The class stars off with very light amounts of work. Make sure that when the course is starting, you read ahead in the textbook. During exam season the class has almost 4 times the work. Make sure you try your best on the assignments at the beginning of the course. Even though they seem worthless, they will help you with your marks when times get tough. Make sure you read the multiple choice questions very carefully and don't take the question too seriously. Focusing on learning how to write about important issues with ease and flair while mentioning all the geographic skills is very important in this course. There are open book tests in this course, usually revealed to be open book the day before the test. Don't underestimate to course work, there's a lot of independent studying to complete.
