Read. The. Book. Do not rely on Sparknotes/summaries. In the class we often received "pop quizzes" (I forget what they were called) with questions about the book currently being read in class. It requires you to read the book with precision, making sure you are taking in all the details. In terms of having a good essay with Mrs. Dos: learn how to make a strong hook, learn PPC/RACES formatting, and don't use AI. Please! For the love of all that's good!

Mrs. Dos was especially helpful in helping me develop "proper" formatting for my essays, although these days (since I've graduated a while ago) I have not used them.... Nevertheless, to succeed in the class literally just listen to what she says and you'll be good. She may come across as a crazy, Italian (I think... ), Ronaldo-loving lady, but she means well. Thank you Mrs. Dos.
