One word – very chill. Mr. Hall is an amazing photography teacher. He will give you assignments with a criteria to follow. You will then take a camera, leave the room, and use it to complete the assignments. There is also a Photoshop aspect to this course – which is fun! He will teach you all the necessary skills to do well in this course. Try your best and you will receive the mark you want!

Retired – no longer teaching. However, he still supplies at BR occasionally. When in a business course, try your best to understand concepts. Don't give up, especially in accounting. Get used to writing in pen as well.

Chemistry is a tough subject, therefore it is important to keep up with your homework. Make sure you know and understand the concepts/lessons. YOU NEED TO BE A THINKER, NOT A MEMORIZER IN THIS COURSE!!!!! You must know the material, and be able to apply it to different scenarios. Mr. Kolić is a very good teacher. Thus, he and this course will prepare you for university! Don't get burned out... if you need help, ask him!! Always do well in the lab reports - they will boost your mark. Know how to budget your time wisely in testing situations - it is okay if you can't get every mark. Overall, it will be hard to achieve that 90%, but if you try your absolute hardest, you will get it!

Mr. MacKenzie is no longer at BR. However, he was a spectacular teacher! Civics and History courses can be challenging - thus, it is important to know the background and significance of each concept! Always review and complete the homework/lessons. Be able to give detailed responses on tests/assignments.

- tests are similar to lesson examples, not the textbook homework - some units require formulas that need to be memorized - the exam is worth 30%, quizzes and tests make up 70% of the course - bring the necessary materials (calculator, pencil, ruler, protractor. )

- complete all of the homework - it is very good preparation for the test!! - complete the star (*) homework questions too - you will find them on a unit outline - There are formulas to memorize. However, sometimes she may give a formula sheet. - Units will feature a quiz and a test... sometimes a performance task if the unit is rather large!!
