This is probably the only teacher I can remember who made a real positive impact. Back when I was at the school he taught Leadership and English and honestly he was the best for both. I had him twice and he was a fantastic person and gave digestible course work. High school wasn't a great experience for me, not that it is for most ;), but he really seemed to care. Thinking about this actually makes me tear up just because of how rare that was and still is, I can't remember a teacher out of my entire four years that was as kind as him. Two that came close to the number one spot tbh, but he was truly the best. I was a weird and argumentative kid and I wasn't exactly the kindest to him either, but he never stopped being kind. Sarcastic at times sure, but how could you not be when kids suck as much as we did. Truly a good person which is reflected in both his teachings and behavior. If you ever read this I want to thank you for being kind to the difficult kid when so many others weren't, and please continue being kind to the youth of the future. The youth are already getting worse so best of luck.
