If you're so lucky as to be in one of Persall's classes, it would be in your best interest to understand key terms to the absolute best of your ability, as she will frequently ask you to integrate this knowledge into essays and short answers on tests. Memorization will not get you very far. KP is a real one though - maybe the sweetest woman on earth. So, if you need clarification... ask!
The best piece of advice I can give someone looking to survive Werezak's class? Do your homework every day. Don't get behind. Ask her questions the next day if there is something you don't understand. Please for the love God, don't go one day without asking for help if there is something you don't understand. She builds on top of previous lessons and then you're gonna blink and realize you have no idea what on earth is going on. It's math - practice it, my dudes. Also, she loves to ask problem solving questions so make sure you have an adequate understanding of how to adjust and apply the examples she covered in class as needed.
