I can't speak to her history or philosophy classes, but in my expereience, Lacey composes questions straight from her notes. Go to her class, take decent enough notes, memorize definitions, be prepared for an essay/case studies, and you should be perfectly fine.

I'm just gonna say it - she can be a little monotone if she's teaching for an hour straight, but she'll sprinkle in some dry jokes and personal anecdotes to keep things interesting. She actually cracks me up, man I'm telling you. She's very involved with extra-curriculars all year, so she isn't the most available to help you out during school hours, but she'll answer any questions for you in class no problem. Mrs. Lacey has the emotional range of a cup of Mott's Fruitsations, but she's very reasonable and truly does care about her students, especially those who continually come to class and make the effort to engage in conversation with her. All in all, Lace Dog is a legend living among us. Mad respect.
