If you have Mme Rossi for Grade 11 French, be prepared. A lot of what you learn in Grade 11 French stems from Grade 9 and 10 Core French courses so be ready. Last minute homework is usually assigned as you're walking out the door, so make sure you understood the content taught that class because there is no time to ask for help after that. Memorize your grammar and proper sentencing because it will get you a long way.

Mme Rossi is a beautiful, calm, and knowledgable teacher. Calling her a nice teacher is an understatement. She acted as a mother to a lot of the classmates. She could tell when you were feeling down or ill and makes sure you are okay without being nosy or pushy. If I could pick any faculty or staff member to speak to about any problem I was having, Mme Rossi is the one I would select. She is on the student's side and genuinely cares for her students. She is very smart and although the homework was the most I have received in any French course, it really payed off and she is an angel when it comes to grading your work. She is very considerate and focuses more on the effort you put into an assignment as opposed to the words in the assignment itself. And trust me, every French teacher can tell when you use Google Translate, but Rossi encouraged us to use our own vocabulary and it truly payed off in the end. I will always have respect for Rossi; great lady.
