pay attention and make sure she knows it, as this will play a large part in how you are received. go in for extra help, even if you don't really need it, even just do your homework in the room, just be noticed and she will be more lenient.

well meaning to the point of being self-detrimental. she lectured our class for probably about ten % of the class time and managed to tank a gifted math class to a 70% average. If your class can manage to not annoy her too much though, she should be a decent teacher. she is also better in the higher grades, with her patience being very low with ninth and tenth grade classes
