Make sure that if you have any trouble that you ask. Also try your best to practise before playing tests, as these tests are the only source the teachers use for marks. I also would advise against trying out for a big instrument like a Bass Clarinet or a Tuba unless you have prior experience with one. I made that mistake and was stuck with that large, clunky Bass Clarinet all through my 6th grade year.
