Ask questions! Redmond usually appreciated them. Don't be stingy with paper and make tiny parabola and other graphs as it really messes up your answers and confuses you sometimes...

study way well in advance before each test don't underestimate the tests/exams not all of the test material is viewed in class class is hard to follow and confusing at times
