Review materials after school and highlight topics that you struggle to understand, so that you can address them to her in class the following day! It's a good idea to make reviews for unit tests as you go along with the material, not a day before the test, same goes for exams. Use mnemonic devices to help remember order of certain concepts; for example, we created a mnemonic device in class regarding the steps to conducting research, and it aided well when it was time for the final exam. Ask questions, and participate!

Mrs. Reed was one of the best teachers I had during my time at St. Pete's! Excellent teaching style, very approachable, and very straightforward when it comes to class/assignment expectations. Her class made me LOVE the social sciences.
