Pay attention in class, do the review because it prepares you for the test and he uses some of the same questions too sometimes, and copy down the examples. Also ask questions if you're confused, lost, or need any clarification. He doesn't assign much homework so it's up to you to make sure you know the material

All you need to do is talk to mr hogg. he is literally one of the best math teachers out there. also, subscribe to Dahiko on YouTube

Ask questions (even during tests! ), he will explain things really clearly, and never make you feel dumb for asking
