I'm not really the best to give advice, I'm a bit of a slacker. But what I can tell you is the Mrs Thatcher just expects you to do your work, and to the best of your ability. She's not like other English teachers that expect a young Shakespeare out of you. So, just show her you are ready for the academic crunch that will come in post-secondary and she'll grade you accordingly.

Class of 2020
I actually didn't do much work in her class, I'm just not an academic person, school bores me, so it's not her fault at all that I didn't do well in her class. In fact, I think I did worse than what my final grade leads on. I think I finished in like the early 70's, even though I didn't hand in two major assignments. I mean I'm not gonna turn down free pity points but I definitely did not deserve that mark. In my opinion I'm actually a decent writer, just lazy.
