This teacher was above average! She is an amazing teacher who truly cares about her students grades and on a personal level. I am a student who always struggled at math and science but she made biology easier with her teaching methods. She would help me out so often and make sure I had everything I needed to be successful in her class. She understood that students have other homework in classes so although it wasn’t always the smallest amount of homework when she did assign some material ; She would allow us more time if we worked or had something going on in our lives. We all respected that and I would make sure to get it done and handed in to her the next day. She understood that everyone has their bad days and respects them as an individual. I had a situation with my best friend not knowing where she was going to live, as she was in foster care. It had caused me to be distraught and I pulled her out of class to explain what was happening and she was the greatest about it. She said take all the time you need and we will catch you up later; she gave me a sincere hug and made me feel a whole lot better. I will never forget how wonderful of a teacher she was and how well she handled me that day. Leo Hayes is lucky to have her as a teacher and a role model to her students! ❤️❤️
