For IB: take review notes in class, but use the textbook often to supplement the slides. Use online resources as well for concepts and practice.

make sure you go to extra help with the other physics teachers, if you are IB, her tests often have questions you have never seen before, so have the theory down rather than just knowing how to plug equations in
