Mrs. Johnston's grade 8 & 9 English classes were very consistent and there were never any surprises. Common assignments are quizzes, tests, posters, presentations and occasionally essays. The tests and quizzes are usually very consistent with the material taught in class, specifically for grammar tests. However, tests and quizzes based on books or poetry are usually very memorization-heavy, although they are always multiple choice.

Class of 2021
If you are a nerd, it is pretty easy to get close to 100% in this class. Group projects are never graded individually so that could bring down a grade. However, a couple of the quizzes and tests given in class can be found online--but finding them is no easy task. This is, in fact, cheating. Think about that before you do any googling.
