Do your homework regardless of it having a due date or not. If in a younger grade, make sure you always do weekly words and prepare for the bigger tests with lots of time.

I had her for Fral 10. She's really sweet. You do a lot of grammar, and to do well on her tests, make sure you do your homework! She even gave us extra review papers to practice. One of my favourite classes last year

Mr C is really nice. Teaches very slowly and explains concepts again and again. Although his tests and quizzes might be very long (50 mcq or mcq+short answers), there are often opportunities for redemption. There are bonus questions on the tests and at Christmas. Midterms and Finals are bonus. If you show up to class, do your homework and study you'll be fine

Prepare well for acid-base unit. Know Ka expressions, conjugate pairs, hydrolysis, buffers, and applications well. I suggest previewing the unit with the Organic Chemistry Tutor or Professor Dave Explains as it prepared me for L. Paley's assessments. Best of luck to future chem 12 students!

Make sure to always use pen for your writing, if you do not then she will give you a 0 claiming that she can't read it. If you're going to make mistakes buy loads of white out, she usually marks any messiness of penmanship a 0 with the excuse of not being able to read it. Finally, I would like to wish you the best of luck passing the class!

A test out of 60 marks is considered a "short" test. Don't be surprised to see your test is out of 88, and there are 55 MC and 33points on the written section. The content is really hard, and oftentimes the questions are not just about memorization. Memorizing will get you a 70-80 I guess.
