Love her as a person/individual but the course can be hard and you get marked pretty harshly

Since he doesn't assign that much homework, it's kind of hard to remember conjugations, etc. Try and participate as much as possible in order to actually gain some oral and writing skills. If you don't enjoy learning languages or don't care that much, don't take French, it will be a waste of time for you. Do all the practice activities, and do the projects he assigns (he will give you bonuses if you do them and your classmates don't)

Ask questions when you have them as she doesn't explain fully when teaching.

In senior ADST classes, pick a project that you think is somewhat achievable (you don't have to finish the project by the end of the year). If he doesn't request to have meetings regularly, keep following up with him to show that you're proactive. Try not to procrastinate too much on Youtube or Reddit unless it's related to the project. He also really appreciates it if you collaborate with your other peers for help and advice.

(Physics 11) He made it so easy to understand! Ask questions if you have them in class. Do the review and homework questions. Watch the lesson recordings if you can't make it to class. Make sure to participate and raise your hand so you get the most out of the practice questions.

(Bio 12) Use the review classes wisely, and it's a good idea to do the MCQ and provincial exam sample questions before the review classes. She uses really useful analogies and actions so you don't really have to memorize too much. Take requizzes if you need to. There's an option for deferred tests, but usually they're harder than the original tests.

I'm not a socials person but she made me love socials for that year. She genuinely makes learning history fun.

Pay attention in class, ask questions when you have them, and make sure you understand the concept before the next class.

Gr 9 english was not too bad. Really participate in class to get on her good side and to get good participation marks.

Regarding English 12 (it's the one I remember best), honestly just pay attention, and be engaged. I think the writing concepts and structures taught are super useful even if you're not a big fan of writing.

The highlight of my year! I'm not a socials person and it means a lot when I say I loved socials this year. She made learning history so much fun and engaging. I'm going to miss not having her as a teacher so much next year!

As with any math or science course, do lots of practice questions! Easiest way to get marks is to do the homework right after class while the concepts and the class example problems are still fresh in your mind.
