Mrs. McEachern is the best!! She is super understanding and always makes an effort to genuinely talk to her students. Tests have almost always included a multi-paragraph response section so make time for that. Write practice responses about some of the material you anticipate the test will be on, so you save time organizing your thoughts on test day. It's not super hard to tell what the specifics of the test will be on. Make sure you can recall the material learned in class and expand on it. This way, you actually learn the topics and not just memorize. Memorizing won't get you far in a social studies course- unless you're using specific examples to support your thinking. Much of the tests in Mrs. McEachern's class relies on your ability to understand, not memorize.
