I took both Accounting and Economics and enjoyed it. For accounting, all of the answers can be found online if you're desperate, but reading the textbook and asking your friends for help is sufficient. Make sure to ask questions when it comes to practicing financial statements so you don't mess up on the test, but Albrecht always repeats important things like underlining and capitalizing. He is very clear when he tells you what's going to be on the test, but only says it once so pay attention. On the other hand, he teaches economics completely different with a quiz almost every Friday. This course really prepared me for university because it forces you to get ahead and learn a lot of it on your own while having the lectures to reinforce your knowledge. My strategy (and a lot of my classmates strategy) was to read the entire chapter (or at least a section ahead of the class) and take notes on it before class. This will make it easier for you to understand everything during class and you can easily answer his questions and in-class activities will be a breeze. During class, take notes on the PowerPoint slides and what he specifically says because sometimes random facts that he spits out will be on the quiz or test. When preparing for the chapter test, combine your textbook notes and lecture notes and condense them so it's easier to understand plus you're retaining information while you do so. This may sound tedious and it requires a lot of will-power, but trust me, it works and it will prepare you for university.
