when you're writing essays, follow the structure of exemplars she might give (better chance of getting higher marks). also, put lots of detail into every in-class assignment you do. tests are generally easy. the grading system is a bit hard. when you're doing reading tests, read your assigned sections very carefully and understand it, you should be good
