Before tests, go over the practice packages she gives as she copies a lot of the questions over.

Way too many questions in homework assignments. Assigning more than 20 long questions for homework per day does not improve marks.

Mrs. Amiri is very kind, however she has a tendency to put people on the spot. She does not seem to have an understanding of an average high schooler's mind. Kids who have anxiety do not want to lose marks due to not being able to write on the board. They also do not want to be called on. Mrs. Amiri seems to bring race up a lot, more than a math teacher should.
