It is good to memorize for tests and quizzes as it will get you through them very fast. Marks are graded based on quizzes, tests, and labs and seldomly based on homework. Almost all the content is posted online, and it is very easy to catch up if you miss a day or two in class. However, it is advised to attend his classes as it is quick paced.
