Just take notes and ask questions. Make sure you actually do the homework and understand it before doing the tests, so you don't have a mental breakdown halfway through the series and sequences test.

The workbook is not the best, and hardly ever used. Make sure to get a physical copy of the textbook, because half the homework questions will be pulled from there. This course is doable with self-study, but don't expect it to be as easy as physics 11. It is very easy to get lost at the start of the course, so make sure to study hard at the beginning.

Highly recommend this course for anyone actually interested in automotive. As long as you are motivated, accountable, and responsible, you will do well in the course. If you are lazy, or don't take the class seriously you won't get anything out of it and end up with a poor mark. Try your hardest, and maybe you will learn a thing or two.

Great teacher, does a lot of work on the board, so sit at the front of the class. Definitely make sure you do the homework, even if he doesn't check it, as not being knowledgeable about the material will come back to get you in the end. Take lots of notes during lectures, especially follow along with the practice questions, as they will help a lot during the homework.

Mr. Kerr is very nice. He is also very good at explaining that I never leave the classroom puzzled tbh. Anyone could get 100% in homework in 20th century history 12, since he just check homework by going around the classroom, not actually collecting it. I would say to succeed in his class, you need to read the materials and summarize using simple terms, memorize vocabs, then explain the stuff to others. At least that’s how I remember sooo much details :) Good luck & hope you also succeed in this course!

The teacher is amazing. He makes the class very easygoing and limits stress factor while still encouraging us to do our best. I would recommend talking to him personally if you are concerned with your grade, or are feeling overwhelmed, because he is very considerate of your wellbeing and success :)

If you're taking her class, then don't even think about getting good grade, because it's impossible. If you got her for any class especially chemistry, DROP HER CLASS IMMEDIATELY AND TAKE IT ONLINE IF YOUR COUNCILOR REFUSES TO SWITCH HER! That's how you're going to save your grade. She almost never helps or even despises the fact that you ask her for help in most cases. She never provides online notes because she's sick and tired of students being too successful using it, meaning that if you fail to show up for one day, it's up to you to do the teaching for yourself. She teaches like how an average student does their presentation, it's awful and you never fully understand what she's talking about. Additionally, her tests and quizzes which worth THE SAME MARKS, are ridiculously hard, and confusing. Most of the questions are mixed in such ridiculous manner that it wasn't really taught how it's solved until you grab her answer sheet. Overall, she has poor instructions, teaching, and overall provides a bad directions for students to succeed in her class.

Always ask for help if you can't understand an assignment (ex. 3D modeling, web design, adobe programs, etc). Always try to do the bonus assignments if you have the time to if you want a good grade.

It is very easy to pass any one of her classes as long as you do the work, engage in group discussions, and provide meaningful reflections when writing responses to the discussion questions. If you have Social Justice 12, make sure you participate actively in group discussions, as they are worth part of your mark.

Materials taught were simple and not enough for students to get good grade on the unit test, only low or failing grade.. Extra self-learning required in order to get a not so low grade at least and don't hope for good grade.
