I think that along the course, Dr. Joe will be hard on you. My advice is to try having fun in her class. She is a very strict teacher and I could say she is somewhat of a close-minded person. As youll see, she won't directly answer your questions or maybe not even at all. However, the class was not that horrible since we learned how to "push ourselves" (quote from Dr. Joe) and to try our best in everything. My personal experience with Dr. Joe is that she used to give me low grades, althought I tried my hardest. But with that, I have tried my best and albeit I didn't get the marks that I truly deserved, my English skills, as well as my mind have really developed. Nonetheless, Dr. Joe isn't the best teacher, she is very strict and sometimes wont listen to you at all, but, I believe that the harder you try in her class, not for the grades, but just to see your limits, you'll really achieve something great and trust me, you'll have fun.

Her marking is so strict and hard, the less you try in class the better you do
