Don't be annoying and you'll do fine in this class. Make sure to pay attention to what she says during class, she gives out a lot of advice that can make or break your assessments, especially writing.

I would definitely say that taking notes is essential for doing well in French. Take notes of all the phrases, words, conjugation, answers to questions, and etc and the class will be much easier.
