Do not be afraid to ask questions! and always jot down whatever minuscule thing she repeats. She gives out a ton of labs and assignments, so that's a thing to worry about!

She is a very harsh grader, KEEP THAT IN MIND! Honestly, having her for English 10 is a blessing in disguise. You learn and have more things stick to you as you progress, HOWEVER that does come at a price, specifically your grades. I would say she marks much harsher than any other teacher in the English department, BUT her comments are genuinely helpful! Just hope you get her in grade 10, cause your 12th year matters.

Big jumbo here (alias ofc). Teacher is extremely chill, took his class for design studies in gr 10 and 20. Posts everything. easy marker aslong as you do your work on time. Has a huge following on his instagram chef account, down to earth chill guy.

The unit tests aren't worth too much more than the quizzes. Make sure you study for those as well because 2-3 classes can easily counteract a bad unit test.

For Math 30, do NOT fall behind. In some other classes you slightly can but you absolutely have to keep up with assigned homework. There's some formulas you have to memorize mainly in the logarithms unit but they aren't too difficult.

You should always practice at home and do the homework. Make sure you understand the grammar rules and write your sentences correctly the first time. MAKE SURE you study for the major tests and projects that will happen towards the end of the year.

His tests are abit challenging, but he will get you to the speed you need to be! Make sure you understand the key and basic concepts and understand how to apply them, otherwise you will get lost on his more challenging questions that are found in his tests.

Chemistry 30 is way better than Chemistry 20. I suggest really understanding the core concepts from Chem 20 that are needed for Chem 30 (i. e., stoichiometry [HEAVY ON STOICH], titrations, etc). Do Quest A+ practice tests. And overall, do your homework and do not fall behind. If you do find yourself falling behind, take a breather and compose yourself.

Don't stress out, she will let you redo things if you ask. She is not a monster looking to fail her students, she's one of the easier English teachers at MAC. She will sit with you and help you understand how to get higher marks, just talk to her and schedule a time to meet. Rewrite essays until you understand, she will grade every single one.

Had her for science 10, excellent teacher, she will go at a pace slow enough for students to understand what shes actually teaching. Her explanations are thorough and will help. She allows for some test exemptions so don't fret! In all shes a fantastic teacher, and made the road for my physics, bio and chem classes much simpler, as I had understood the information from science 10, and that same information would reoccur and be built in higher classes. So having a good foundation, with a teacher that's patient and willing to help is key!

Do lots of practice questions because being exposed to many types of questions is helpful and will help you remember. Keep your values organised. Don't be afraid to ask for help because it really benefits you in the long run.
