When doing writing assignments, reviewing the rubric and clearing up any misunderstandings you may have is incredibly helpful. Asking for help is always available, and will almost always provide you with a better grade in the end, as well as tools you can use going forward.

Ms. Kostiuk represented some of the best skills and attributes you could ever ask of a teacher. She was always kind, funny, available to talk, and always open for discussion. I never felt bad about having to go ask her for clarification about anything. She has a way of reassuring you and explaining concepts in a way that allowed you to improve both your writing and yourself. Her ability to simultaneously be a friend, a teacher, and a guide, has provided me with skills I still use to this very day.
