hes pretty flexible about most things, so if you havent fully finished something by the due date and need a bit more time you just gotta ask and usually he'll say yes a decent amount of his lessons are just watching japanese movies, trying japanese foods, playing japanese games, etc. also if you finish your work early/ get ahead he doesnt just give you more work to do (looking at you ms hamburg) you actually get free time. also you can talk to your friends in class, just dont be too loud, ignore your work, etc (just dont be annoying basically)
