For year 11 English, just make sure you keep all the materials after you finish each area of study (e. g. keep books and notes from when you do a literature review), and as a recommendation to remember quotes, use the app Memorise By Heart, it's really helpful.

I think Fincher does a really good job as a teacher - he knows his stuff and you can tell he knows his stuff, he's able to know when it's appropriate to joke around with students and when it's not, and he knows his students, as in, what works for each student in terms of learning, and also what tells there are that a person is feeling down.
